Radiation Therapy Physicists

Ana Mihail , M.A., D.A.B.R.

Ana Mihail is a medical physicist and part owner of INphysics, LLC. Ana has over 10 years of experience and she is certified by the American Board of Radiology in therapeutic radiologic physics.

Prior to INphysics, Ana worked as a medical physicist at Cancer Care Group, IN, St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN, and at Community Hospital in Oradea, Romania. Ana received her Master of Arts degree in physics from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, and trained in therapeutic radiologic physics at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, IN.

She has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear physics from “Babes Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and a master degree in radiation therapy physics from the same university. Ana is an approved therapy physicist and approved diagnostic & X-ray tube inspector in the state of Indiana.

Ana’s extensive experience includes intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), HDR, LDR, CT simulation, and intravascular brachytherapy. She has also accepted and commissioned linear accelerators, treatment planning systems, CT Simulators, and HDR units.
